Penguins at the Pittsburgh Zoo Zoom Around the Snow Like Little Kids on the Playground Slide

Whoooosh! Did you see that? Nope, it wasn’t a speeding train. It was a bunch of penguins at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium playing around. The penguins were having such a blast after a snowstorm hit. And now video of the animals slipping and sliding around the ground has people online so charmed.

Have you ever tried walking on snow that’s been packed down? It can be scary! It sort of makes me wish we could slide around on our bellies to get around.

The penguins were totally fearless when it came to their snow day. The snow didn’t mean shoveling or worrying about their car getting stuck. It meant a full day waddling around in that fluffy white stuff and having a blast.

The footage shows the penguins sliding down the ramp in their enclosure. I can’t exactly speak penguin, but to me it looks like they’re all saying “weeeeeee.” How fun! The animals really were living it up. It’s a good reminder that it’s their snow day too!

Commenters were so jealous of the penguins’ good time.

“The way I would donate a kidney to go sledding with penguins,” joked one commenter.

“The way they just flop,” someone else teased.

“Cutest thing ever. Loving the snow,” chimed in a third commenter.

“At least someone appreciates the cold and snow!” quipped another commenter.
