Siblings sometimes have a hard time sharing their mom, especially when it comes to snuggle time on the couch. Lola, the Pomeranian, was eager to sit with her mom, but her Orange Cat sister took her usual spot, causing quite an emotional upset for the pup.

In a recent TikTok video shared by @lola_thepom, the adorable senior Pomeranian has a problem with the Orange Cat’s position. The look in her eyes says, “Mom! She’s in my spot! Make her move!” and clearly Mom understands her message because she says, “I don’t know what to tell you. She’s not taking up the whole couch.”

This is when the little Pomeranian gets serious and gives Mom a paw—a gentle nudge to move the cat from the seat next to her on the couch. But Mom doesn’t give in. She continues, “I’m not going to make her move. You can sleep next to her.”

The pup is using her giant brown eyes to try to plead her case, but it’s still not working. The cat is completely unbothered, and her mom is no help. After a few more moments of silent negotiation, the Pom gives a slightly defeated look and appears to accept that the cat is staying put.

As Mom tries to encourage her to sleep next to the cat, she lifts the blanket off her legs. Although the intention was for Lola to take the spot next to Ducky, the cat, she uses the opening to launch herself into her mom’s lap, instead.
