At first glance, NuNu just looks like an especially cute Tuxedo kitten doing regular kitten things. Tiny face, big eyes, dramatic coloring—the whole package. Absolute cuteness overload. You might even think you have seen this kitten before while scrolling.
Then, you look a little closer. And then a little closer again. And suddenly, you realize there is something about NuNu’s face that is very much not ordinary, and once you see it, you cannot unsee it. Just check out this wild-looking fur baby!
This adorable and unique cat was shared by @jaknola on TikTok, and everyone has fallen in love. “What an absolutely stunning baby,” one person said. NuNu has been stealing hearts online thanks to an extremely rare condition that gives him what looks like two noses. It is one of those things that makes people stop mid-scroll, zoom in, and immediately send the video to at least three friends with a “wait what” attached.

Despite his unusual look, NuNu seems completely unbothered by the attention. He comes across like any other kitten—playful, curious, and fully convinced the world exists for his entertainment. The only difference is his face, which looks like it was designed by a committee that could not agree on just one nose. Another person said, “Him gets double boops.” “Two noses, too cute,” another person raved.
Cats like NuNu have a way of stopping people in their tracks, and he is far from the only cat whose unique look has made the internet collectively lose its mind.
So many people made comments about NuNu being a Janus cat. If you’re wondering what that is, keep reading.
What Is a Janus Cat?
A Janus cat is a very rare type of feline born with a condition called diprosopus, which causes parts of the face to be duplicated. The name comes from Janus, the Roman god, who represents two faces, although kitties like NuNu don’t usually have two full faces, just duplicated features like noses or mouths.
While it can look surprising, many Janus cats live happy lives, especially when the duplication is limited and does not affect vital functions. In NuNu’s case, his extra nose is mostly a visual surprise, and it doesn’t seem to slow him down at all.
