Golden Retriever Displays Epic Pout for Most Hilarious Reason

No one enjoys being told they can’t get a taste of a food item they’re craving. Even if it’s something that’s not good for you, you may still want it.

When it comes to children and pets, hearing, “Sorry, not for you,” in regard to a coveted snack, can spark a tantrum or a serious pouting session.

One Golden Retriever isn’t going to hide the fact that he’s very disappointed he’s not receiving a bite of a certain vegetable that packs a punch. Take a peek.

“Everyone, pray for Reef. Nothing’s wrong with him. I just didn’t give him a bite of the raw onion he was begging for,” Reef’s human captioned the clip. “Big dramatic baby.”

Aww, Reef, we know it’s sad, but your family is just looking out for you! Even a small sliver of an onion is pretty intense. A bite may throw off your taste buds all day, buddy!

“Oh my goodness, Reef, don’t cry, but you can’t eat bulbs (onions), they make you poorly. I’ll blow you a big kiss, so get ready to catch it,” one empathetic fan wrote.

Which Vegetables Are Best for Dogs?

It’s natural to want to share with your pet, but their health and safety are our top priority. With that in mind, which are the best vegetables to feed your pup?

According to experts, carrots, apples, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, watermelon, and green beans are all good “human” foods that are safe for dogs.

Of course, peanut butter, while not a fruit or vegetable, is on the list as well.

Poor Reef. We imagine his family has probably allowed him to try some of those healthy options, and now he’s gotten a taste for human food and doesn’t want to be excluded.

My cats are often begging for some unusual dishes like pasta and rice. (Perhaps they’re carb-loading for a late-night race around the basement after the rest of us are in bed!) It’s tough to turn them down, but better safe than sorry.

We hope Reef gets an appropriate snack soon!
