A heart-melting video capturing the early bond between a baby and a pet dog is winning hearts on Instagram. The short clip documented how the gentle furry creature eagerly brought his favorite toys to his tiny human sibling, inviting him to join in on the fun.

Dog brings his toys to baby brother to play with him in cute video

On January 10, the Derise family took to their dog Beau’s Instagram account, @beaunosebones, to share an adorable video with their 979,000 followers. The video began with the toddler sitting comfortably in his pack n’ play as he played with his toys. “Recently, we’ve been noticing that our son’s pack n’ play had a lot of our dog’s toys in it,” the video caption read.

The video switched to another clip of the baby playing, while one of his parents took out the dog’s toys and put them back in their place. The caption on the video explained that although the parents were confused about how the toys got there, they did not think much of it. However, once they started paying attention, they found out that their dog, Beau, was bringing his toys to his human brother and dropping them in his play n’ mate.

At one point, the video showed Beau sitting with a toy clutched in his mouth while the caption read, “This made us think back to when Beau would leave all his toys in Frankie’s nursery when he was born.” It concluded with the parents writing that they found it heartwarming that the sweet gesture was a “sneak peek into the way they would play together today.”
