Golden Retriever Is Unfazed By His Brother’s Stalking, and It’s Hilarious

These two Goldens are ready to take their routine on the road.

Brothers Blu and Benny are best buds, but they also tolerate each other’s shenanigans from time to time. In this entertaining TikTok, Blu is totally unbothered as Benny pretends to stalk him like a wild animal. Benny inches closer and closer, hoping to instill fear in his brother, only to be met by total — and hilarious — indifference. Something tells me this isn’t the first time Blu has taken the wind out of his brother’s sails, but it seems Benny is happy to keep coming back for more.

Even when Benny dramatically ends his pursuit with his backside in his brother’s face, Blu remains unfazed.

One commenter sums up his reaction best: “Blu’s like, ‘bish please.’”

“All tha build up … for nothing 🤣,” agrees another.

It’s certainly an anticlimactic ending to this wildlife mockumentary, but extremely entertaining nonetheless.

Should I Get a Second Dog?

A loving relationship like Benny and Blue’s is a perfect example of why two dogs are often better than one, especially for a breed as friendly as Goldens.

For starters, two dogs can keep each other entertained and active in a way humans can’t always match. They play, chase, wrestle, nap together, and burn off energy throughout the day, which can take some of the pressure off parents to be their dog’s sole source of stimulation. After all, no human could compete with Benny’s performance in a game of predator and prey.

An older, well-adjusted dog can also help train a new puppy by example. Puppies naturally learn by watching, and having a canine role model helps reinforce good manners—from house training and leash behavior to understanding household routines. The more established dog in a household can often keep a newer pup in line.

For dogs that struggle with separation anxiety, a second dog can provide comfort and companionship when their humans are away. While it’s not a guaranteed fix, many dogs feel calmer knowing they’re not alone, which can lead to less stress-related behavior — and less guilt for us parents.

While having two dogs means double the food, walks, vet visits, and fur, it also means double the personalities, double the companionship, and double the love.
