Oftentimes, pets can be very demanding of their humans’ time and energy. Sometimes they want you to take them for a walk, pet them continuously while you’re trying to sleep, or even share your food with them—and they can be quite insistent until you give in!

Penny, the Calico cat, is no different in her desire for attention; however, the way she asks for it is definitely unique. Her mom recently posted a TikTok video of the 7-year-old kitty requesting to share her snack in what is quite possibly the cutest way ever.

The little sweetie stands on her hind legs, with her two front paws resting on the edge of the couch cushion right next to where her mom is sitting. Penny then looks directly into her mom’s eyes and tippy-taps on the couch with her paw.

These weren’t just ordinary “pet me” taps—these were couch taps that clearly said, “Give me all your food, or else!”
