“Never go to bed without kisses,” the caption on this video smartly states along with, “love my babies.” In this case, the babies include two cows and two donkeys, of course.

These sweet beasties absolutely delighted viewers in a clip of them all waiting for some goodnight attention from mom. It’s clear they are all living the dream!

People dropped into the comments to claim their kisses with @Bri_tway exclaiming “Give them kisses from me too!!” We also would like to reserve a few.

“This must be what heaven is like,” @Katsmash added. @EMU-alum chimed in with, “Boop, boop, boop, and boop!” We have to admit giving these cuties a boop absolutely tops our to-do list.

But it was @danielwelcher1 who had the best response, “Put a kissing booth out front and make a fortune.” If that isn’t a stellar business idea, we don’t know what is.

Viewer @Miss Beth jumped in with what we were all thinking, “Can we see when they get their kisses?” And we were not disappointed. In a follow up video, all the animals get their smooches. The on-screen text tells us, “Goodnight kisses. No, I didn’t kiss Mr. Cat… He would bite my face.”

“‘No kisses, only hisses’ ~Mr. Cat,” emphasized @shaniqua2520. The rest leaned in for their nighttime love though.

Why do animals like kisses?

It doesn’t surprise anyone that dogs like to get a kiss now and then, but it’s a bit more unusual to see a bovine lean in for her peck. But maybe it shouldn’t be! Cows are very social creatures who bond with their humans. They even play with toys!

In the herd, cows use grooming as a way to show affection for others of their kind, so it’s no wonder they also enjoy pets and kisses from people, too (and they’ve been domesticated for about 12,000 years, so they’ve had plenty of time to adjust to us).

Of course, you shouldn’t go up to a random cow and start trying to deliver lip smacks, but you wouldn’t kiss a human stranger, either! We know one thing for sure: This crew loves their goodnight kisses.
