There are a lot of stereotypes out there that would have us believe cats and dogs are total enemies, but if you happen to be a mom to both, like I am, you already know plenty of them get along like total besties instead. My cat and dog are practically inseparable, and watching them cuddle during nap time might be my favorite thing in the world.
The love between the Pug and the Tabby cat in the video below is so real that you can feel it just by watching them together.
In honor of National Cuddle Day recently, @puggpickles on TikTok shared the cutest video of her pets, Pickles and Pancake, snuggled up together in the same bed.
They both look completely at peace—even with Pickles’ face all smushed up against Pancake’s face. Some cats would never let that fly, but this kitty is totally fine with it.
The part of the video where they’re both asleep, and Pancake has her arm wrapped around her dog BFF? That’s definitely the best. How do their humans get anything done when they could be witnessing something this cute instead?!

Pickles and Pancake Are Basically Soulmates
Considering the fact that there’s an entire TikTok account dedicated to the adorable friendship between these two animals, it’s safe to say that thousands of people have fallen in love with this duo.
In one video, their humans described them as soulmates, and there’s no more perfect term than that. Just look at them!
Between the cuddling, the grooming, and the fact that they spend all day, every day together just means that they can’t imagine life without each other—even if they can’t exactly express that thought out loud the way humans can.
It’s so sweet that Pickles and Pancake have each other to rely on like that. Everyone deserves a bestie in their life like the one that this cat and dog have!
