Rare ‘Blue Cheese’ Tortie Maine Coon Has the Most Refreshing Face

There is nothing prettier than a rare cat. Listen, all cats are stunning, but a lot of cats look very similar. When one comes along who’s genuinely unique, it’s refreshing! Especially if they’re huge.

One Maine Coon cat checks every box: huge, unique, adorable, and her Blue Tortoiseshell coat has her looking like a very expensive block of blue cheese:

Nova’s Royal Pets are all beautiful, but Miss Lilac takes the cake. According to Nova, she’s a Blue Tri Maine Coon, which we can clearly see all over. She’s got:

  • A patch of white on her chest.

Her face is really where the crumbly “blue cheese” effect comes into play. Lilac is still a kitten, too, so her coat and size will only get more impressive over time. Just like blue cheese, if you’re into that!

Lilac is not a Lilac Maine Coon, which is also a thing. Lilac Maine Coons have soft brown-grey-red-ish fur that tends to lean purple in certain lighting. They’re exceedingly rare, too!

However, Lilac the Maine Coon is just named after the flower: it was the theme of her litter. She also has a sister named Lavender who’s growing up into an equally beautiful cat:

European Maine Coons are just incredible. No one can beat them!

Rarest Maine Coon Coat Colors

A Blue Tortie Maine Coon is rare enough, but it’s not the only coat color people covet. There are plenty of other coat colors that you’ll be hard-pressed to find!

Typically, the rarest coat colors are not solid colors: people are after “patterns.” For example:

  1. “Smoke” Maine Coons, where their fur changes color.

Smoke Maine Coons have very light roots, while the tip of the fur is darker. It creates a super cool effect that people love, especially around their faces. Other than that, certain solid colors like gold, blue, or lilac are all sought after, too.

Everybody wants Lilac the Blue Cheese Maine Coon. I know I do!
