Bichon Frise Has a Huge Celebration Dance Every Time He Gets a Treat

Some dogs eat treats. Some dogs inhale treats. And then there’s Zen, a little white Bichon Frise who does not simply consume a snack. He celebrates it like it’s a personal blessing from the universe.

In the clip, Zen spots a treat on the floor and immediately launches into what can only be described as a full-body praise dance. Hopping. Spinning. Vibing. He doesn’t rush it. He doesn’t panic. He just takes a moment to really feel the joy before finally eating it. As the caption perfectly puts it, “He doesn’t eat treats, he celebrates them.”

The precious and hilarious video was uploaded by @zentheebaby to TikTok, and it gets even better because gospel music is playing in the background. Which makes the whole thing feel less like a dog getting a snack and more like a tiny, fluffy sermon on gratitude.

People in the comments were fully on board. One person wrote, “That baby giving God the praise for that bountiful blessing!” Another said, “He felt the spirit,” which honestly might be the most accurate description. Someone else chimed in with, “I feel the happiness, my fluffy buddy!” because Zen’s joy is contagious.

Other pet parents related hard. “Ours does the same, and I have to put the treat on the mat where I keep his bowls, or he doesn’t realize that it isn’t a threat,” one person shared. Another summed it up perfectly with, “We all need something to celebrate.” And truly, yes, we do.

What makes Zen so funny is how sincere he is. This isn’t trained behavior. This is pure, unfiltered happiness. He notices the treat. He processes the moment. He dances. Then he eats. It’s a full emotional arc.

Honestly, humans could learn something from this. We also love a little treat. We also get excited about snacks. We just don’t usually hop around our kitchen giving thanks before eating them. Maybe we should. I think I’m gonna start. Now, someone give me a treat.
