Some dogs don’t just have backyards, even though that’s probably how we would define their yard. Instead, they consider these spaces their kingdoms. And they’re so proud of every square inch. Even freezing weather isn’t enough to stop them from taking a moment to appreciate everything they have out in nature, the space they call their own.
We see that play out in this video, which shows a Golden Retriever calmly standing outside, taking in the view with quiet confidence. He doesn’t seem to care one bit that it’s basically sub-zero out there. His posture and focus make it clear this is his domain, and he takes the responsibility seriously, which is incredibly cute. Take a look!
On January 22, TikToker @tuckerbudzyn shared a video of their adorably charming Golden Retriever named Tucker, who was outside in the cold, eyes fixated on something in the distance.
His parent is taking the video from inside the house, where it’s protected from the freezing cold outside. Sweet Tucker has his chest all puffed up with pride, standing steady and “protecting his kingdom.” That’s the vibe he’s giving off, but really, all he’s doing is looking at something out in the distance, or he’s completely zoned out.

In the comments, thousands of people share their thoughts on what Tucker might really be doing outside, and if they can’t figure it out, they’re happy to shower him with praise.
One person wrote, “Not a squirrel in sight. His work is done!”
Another shared, “This is the most majestic thing I have ever seen in my life. May your kingdom have peace for many long years, good sir.”
Someone else added, “Not Tucker looking like a fine silver fox! I remember his videos as a puppy.”
Other comments included, “And I get to bask in his glory for free?” “He takes his job seriously,” “Watching over his kingdom,” “THE most majestic stance ever witnessed,” and “The wind was a paid actor.”
Another joked, “Everywhere the light touches… is where he has peed.”

How To Keep Your Dog Warm in Cold Weather
It doesn’t look like the cold weather outside is bothering Tucker, and that’s likely due to his majestic coat. But if you have a dog and it’s cold outside, there are some things you can do to keep them warm and protected, experts say.
According to PetMD, even the fluffiest of dogs need some winter protection if it’s cold outside. They explain that if it’s 20 degrees Fahrenheit or below, your pup will notice and will probably be happiest wearing some foot protection and a sweater.
Watch your dog for shivering, whining, or tucking their tail, which can all be signs they’re too cold and should come inside. Offering warm food, water, and a blanket can help bring their temperature back to a cozy level after being outside.
