Dogs are often referred to as fur babies by their human parents for a very good reason. Yes, many dogs, and Golden Retrievers, in particular, are often good boys, but not Bauer and Maverick.
Their human dad was doing everything he could to get Bauer out of the pool, but Bauer had no intention of listening to him, just like his canine brother Maverick had every intention of helping him disobey their human dad.
At the start of this video, their human dad, who appropriately is wearing a sweater labeled “spare human,” has already been struggling to get his golden fur babies out of the pool for nearly 3 hours.
Although Maverick is bone dry in this footage, he stops his dad from drying off his canine brother by biting and eventually tearing their pool towel. All the while, Bauer totally refuses to stop jumping into the pool over and over again, LOL!
Perhaps most impressively, was the way Bauer would seemingly dive headfirst into the pool, like he was an Olympic diver in his previous life, LOL.

Unsurprisingly, social media was completely smitten with these naughty Golden Retriever Brothers’ hysterical antics.
Instagram user themidnightyogi praised Maverick for helping Bauer to live his best life when they wrote, “Maverick, bone dry but causing a scene to help his bro live his best joy.”
Meanwhile, various Instagram users thought that the way Bauer jumped, dived, or flipped into the water was hilarious, with many of them joking that he was a synchronized swimmer or a seal in his past life.
Bauer Also Likes ‘Playing’ With Pool Floaties
Well, maybe “playing” is the wrong word. As this video shows, destroying is a much more appropriate word choice, LOL.
At first, Bauer’s human dad simply wanted to get in the pool and spend some time floating around on his new inflatable raft; however, this naughty Golden Retriever had other ideas.
After his human dad asked for help bringing his raft in from the pool, Bauer was on a mission to cause chaos, and that mission didn’t end even when he had already brought the raft in.
And it didn’t end after Bauer had popped the raft either. Just like it didn’t end when Bauer had successfully torn this inflatable raft to shreds, LOL! The moral of the story is that when Bauer, the Golden Retriever, is on a mission, chaos will ensue, LOL!
