There is simply no exhaustion in the world like the kind you have after a full day at the beach while on vacation. The combo of the sun and walking in the sand (and playing in the ocean) is enough to wear anyone out, and there’s something about taking that post-beach shower and passing out for a deep nap that really hits the spot like nothing else.

It’s not just humans who know all about this joy, though—dogs know it, too, and all the proof of that you need is right here in this video of a Dachshund who must have played her absolute hardest on the beach that day.

This Dachshund’s human, @bacithedachie on TikTok, shared a clip of Baci, the Dachshund, riding in the car on the way to the beach and then on the way home from the beach, and I have a feeling a lot of us are going to be able to relate.

On the way there, she’s perked up and ready for whatever the day might bring. On the way home? Passed out cold after a big day of playing, of course.

It seems like Baci gets plenty of opportunities for beach days, so fortunately, there are more in her future! In the past, her humans have shared many videos of her enjoying the water and the sand (even if she may not be the best at swimming in the ocean).

Every time this dog’s mom shares photos and videos of her at the beach, she looks like she’s the happiest pup in the world, so I think it’s safe to say that these might just be her favorite days.

Watching these videos in the dead of winter is really making me long for summer that much more… and to find a dog-friendly beach so my pup can experience it all, too.
