Some cats and dogs are really interested in TV, but others barely even notice if a screen is on in the room they happen to be hanging out in. It’s hard to tell what kind of animal you get until you bring them home and find out for yourself!
But for those who are genuinely entertained by watching movies and TV shows, it can be really entertaining to watch their reactions… and fortunately, the cats in the TikTok video below have each other to snuggle up with and watch together.
This video shared by @ellawatchtv_ on TikTok shows Jovie and Acorn snuggled up together on the couch, holding paws while they watch TV. How cute are these kitties?!
According to their human, they always like to hold paws while they cuddle, so this is just their normal. But that doesn’t make it any less adorable to witness!

The Cats in This Family Love TV
Their family originally gained a strong following on TikTok (we’re talking nearly 800k followers, NBD) because their senior cat, Ella, was such a big fan of watching TV. She made it part of her daily routine!
After the family said goodbye to Ella in October 2025, they added their new kitten, Acorn, to the family earlier this month, and ironically enough, she seems to be into TV, too!
In one video, the cats’ mom shared footage of Acorn totally posted up in front of the TV, completely transfixed. “Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I adopted a cat who likes to watch TV… but it’s weird it happened twice, right?” she wrote.
In her caption, she added that Ella must have sent Acorn to her family, and that’s exactly what I want to believe.
Jovie and Acorn are too cute together, and I love that the TV-watching tradition is continuing in this family.
