Zoomies have got to be the most universal expression of joy in the animal world. Regardless of species, witnessing any animal, of any size, running around in pure joy is always a heartwarming, life-affirming experience.
Just watch this video of Bentley, the magnificent black horse, catching a serious case of the zoomies as he freely runs around in the snow on his farm to see what we mean.
Bentley is as majestic as can be. Honestly, we feel like the theme music for Black Beauty should be playing in the background every time Bentley decides to go for a run.
The sheer aesthetic beauty of watching him run is incredible! But turning up the volume on this video to listen to the sound of his hooves pounding the ground as he goes makes it even better! Zoomies don’t get any more majestic than this!

Eventually, Bentley’s equine brothers join him. One of them is a white horse, and the other is a beautiful brown horse with white tips on his legs and across his face. The three of them give off such a serene vibe as they trot around together.
Bentley seems to nod at his two brothers as if to say, “See, I told you guys, it’s great out here in the snow!” And his equine brothers seem to nod back at him as if to say, “Yeah, you’re right, Bent. It is pretty cool out here.”
Bentley and His Brothers Also Enjoy ‘Frolicking’ in the Rain
As this other video shows, Bentley and his equine brothers also enjoy running around in the rain. In this footage, they trot all over this field, enjoying the fresh spray of the rain in their magnificent manes.
They also enjoy what appears to be a little bit of “play sparring” in the mud, rearing up on their hind legs, kicking their legs, and swaying their heads with attitude as they playfully challenge each other, as brothers like to do.
It’s great to see horses like Bentley roaming free, enjoying playful bouts with their siblings, as well as Mother Nature’s seasonal changes. With so much to be happy about, no wonder Bentley caught such a serious case of the Zoomies in the first video!
