Golden Retriever Turning the Tables on His Groomer Will Have You LOLing So Hard

Have you ever taken your dog to the groomer? It can be pretty stressful. Most dogs don’t love getting groomed. One Golden Retriever is probably not a huge fan of it. So he decided to turn the tables on the groomer and clean her hair for a change.

I guess Benny thought that everyone needed to get their hair done that day — not just him. The Golden decided to strike back when his groomer wasn’t looking. And the results are absolutely hilarious.

Poor Benny’s human was so embarrassed. You can’t take your dog anywhere these days without them causing a scene, tsk tsk tsk.

The Golden Retriever was on the grooming table, waiting for his nails to get trimmed, when he must’ve spotted the woman’s hair tie. It was a little too tantalizing for the pup. For some reason he thought it was a good idea to give the object a yank — straight from the woman’s head.

Surprisingly, he managed to get the whole thing out! The groomer was shocked! The look on her face said it all!

“His behavior is so embarrassing,” his human wrote in the text overlay. “Constantly apologizing with a hefty tip.”

People in the comments section couldn’t stop laughing. Benny really is something else.

“He said ‘how about we do something about your hair first,’” joked one person.

“He thought y’all were doing each other’s hair,” someone else teased.

“He said ‘since you’re bothering me, I’m gonna bother you!’” chimed in another commenter.

“He’s just doing his job and retrieving,” quipped one person.

Tips for the Dog Groomer

The groomer can be really scary for dogs. It freaks them out! So if you’re dreading your next trip, here are a few handy tips.

One of the best ways you can prepare your dog is by brushing your dog regularly at home. Trust me when I say it makes everything a lot easier on the day of your appointment.

Keep your appointment low-key and trust your groomers. There is a good chance your dog will be nervous and might whine. Don’t respond to every whine your pup lets out and try to stay in the waiting room during their appointment. It’s not that you don’t care! But dogs tend to take on whatever emotion their humans are feeling. You could accidentally make things worse!

Treats and positive encouragement go a long way too. Be good to your pupper! They’re being so brave and strong.
