Recently, one German Shepherd-Husky mix totally won everyone’s hearts. He’s been sprung from the shelter and is currently “buttering up” his foster mom, but he still needs a forever home. One look and you’ll be ready to welcome him in:

Right now, they’re working on training with Chop. He’s potty-trained already, but he’s brushing up on his other skills. Since he’s a mix between two very intelligent, highly trainable breeds, he’s doing well!
Just like both Huskies and German Shepherds, though, Chop can be a little stubborn sometimes. He’d do best in a family that can keep up with his training and his love of playing!
He’s such a pretty boy. If I lived closer and didn’t already have three dogs, I would totally take him in!

If you’re not super active, don’t spend a lot of time at home, and don’t have a lot of experience with dogs, this might not be the right breed. However, for the right family, they make genuinely wonderful companions!
