There is nothing like a good nap. It can change the course of your entire day.
Sometimes a nap can feel better than an entire night’s sleep, especially if it is a good, deep one.
The main problem with naps is that it can be hard to wake up from one sometimes.
We see this here with an adorable white Pit Bull named Billy, who is a female.
Billy has taken the best nap. She even wore his pajamas for it.
And she is just not quite ready to emerge from her slumber.
In the video, his mom lifts her up from her sleeping position, though she seems to remain in the same position, and then she proceeds to stretch a little while Mom holds her.
But then she decides she’ll just go right back to sleep!
She nuzzles her face into her chest, and even though her arms and legs are sticking straight out, she has decided this is a fine place to continue her nap.
His mom writes in the caption, “I take my naps very seriously,” and this is quite true!
Billy’s habit of sleeping very deeply seems to be a common occurrence.
In another video from the account @billythepitty2, we see her mom coaxing her out of another nap, and she does the same Frankenstein stretch.
In this one, her mom writes in the caption, “If you didn’t know, the pinkness on her skin darkens when she’s relaxed, has a good sleep, or is warm. It goes back to normal when she’s awake :).”
How Much Sleep Do Pit Bulls Need?
You may be thinking, this dog sure sleeps a lot, but that is quite normal.
Pit Bulls are very active and athletic dogs, but they also require a significant amount of sleep to stay healthy.
Usually, Pit Bulls sleep for about 12 to 14 hours per day, but this can vary based on the dog’s needs.
Clearly, Billy, the Pit Bull, loves her naps!
