Isabel Klee has fostered over 30 dogs, specializing in canines with extreme medical and behavioral challenges. Her current foster, a Shih-Tzu named Raven, recently had surgery to remove a huge mass from her hind leg and back. The canine cutie continues to recover under Klee’s care and the support from her fur baby brother, Simon.
Raven is clearly feeling better and starting to show her true personality, which includes a playful side.
In the TikTok from @simonsits, Klee shared an update on Raven’s progress with some very good news.
“I’m sitting here freaking out because Raven just played with a toy for the very first time,” Klee shared with a smile. “She has picked up a few bones around here over the past few weeks and chewed them a little bit but has never actually played with a toy.”
Klee described how Raven “randomly went to the toy bin”, brought a toy back to her bed and chewed on it. Klee decided to try playing fetch with Raven, and the precious pooch basically said, “game on” and retrieved the toy.
“It was so cute and she was so proud of it,” Klee raved, and turned the camera to show Raven still having fun with the plushie. “She’s literally still playing with it.”
Raven Played Several Rounds of Fetch
Klee tossed the stuffed animal several times for Raven to retrieve, showing her followers how the canine cutie was up for the challenge. During breaks, the foster dog had her paw over her plushie for safekeeping and loved chewing on it to pull out some fluffy stuffing.
“Are you defluffing?” Klee sweetly asked. “Are you defluffing for the very first time?”

Then, Raven decided to mix it up and grabbed another toy. Choosing a bumblebee plushie, the fur baby saw the benefits of having an entire toy collection. There was an added spring in Raven’s step as she continued playing, almost like she rediscovered her puppyhood.
“I’m so proud of you, Raven,” Klee gushed.
