Some dogs prefer to be pampered only pets, but others, like the fur siblings who make up the @bundleofbullies crew, couldn’t imagine life without their friends and family. Dogs are pack animals, after all, and every member of the pack is essential.
The Bundle of Bullies experienced unimaginable loss over and over again when four of their dogs passed away in the span of a single month. Their human mom, Maren, and surviving fur sister, Cupcake, have been distraught without their boys, but the American Bully recently found comfort in the most fitting way. Finally, everyone’s hearts are starting to heal!
Welcome home, Potato! After the passing of Raffie, Pickles, Odin, and Bean, this big hunk of love is bringing some much-needed joy back into Maren’s and Cupcake’s lives. Finally, this snuggly pup has someone to cuddle up with, again!
“I can’t explain it, but Potato gives off a guardian vibe like he’s been sent to you,” commented @roxiedmusic. “There’s something about his eyes; he’s a very special dog with a healing heart.”

You can say that again! Even though Cupcake is still grieving the loss of her fur brothers, watching her play, cuddle, and bond with Potato is mending so many broken hearts. The cherry on top is that Potato is a rescue dog, and he also gets the second chance at life that he’s always deserved.
As several viewers like @sagefortyeight noticed, “Potato is looking so much healthier, too! You’re just a miracle maker with dogs. They all seem so well cared for.” Maren doesn’t hesitate to take in rescue dogs who are sick, injured, or in need of love, and their healing is crystal clear.
Grieving the Loss of a Pet
As Maren and her crew of American Bullies have demonstrated, there’s no single, linear way to heal from the loss of a pet. Whether or not it’s expected, an animal’s death can be traumatic and heartbreaking, and there’s no right or wrong way to process it. Talking to a friend, family member, or even a mental health professional can be a great way to find support when you need it the most.
Cupcake’s journey has shown everyone that dogs grieve, too. She needed the love and support just as much as her human family members did, but now Potato is here for her. It’s safe to say she’ll never be alone again.
