I don’t have fluffy dogs: I have three Boston Terriers, and while they’re all beautiful and perfect, they’re short-haired. I wouldn’t trade them for the world, but whenever I see a fluffy dog, you better believe I’m asking if I can pet them!
Though I don’t live anywhere near this ultra-fluffy, rare Corgi-Malamute mix, I so wish I did. When his dad started running his hands through his cheek fluff, I have to admit that I was experiencing a lot of jealousy:
Apollo the Corgi-Mute is the talk of his town. He’s a very social dog, and he loves walking around. Wherever dogs are allowed, Apollo likes to go, and he gets lots of pets. No one can resist him, and he can’t resist showing off!
He’s a California boy, too; he lives in LA. There are tons of places for him to visit and people for him to see there. His favorite activity, though, is lying around while other people appreciate him for his looks.

Apollo Does Tricks
Beyond being one of the most handsome dogs ever, Apollo the Corgi-Mute is a master of tricks. He knows all the basics like sit, stay, and lie down. Being that he’s half Corgi, half Malamute, this is a very smart boy who trained well!
Perhaps the most special of all of his tricks is his wave. He stands on his hind legs and waves to all of his adoring fans, and we eat it up every single time:
I wish I could dance with Apollo! Although I know his moves would definitely outshine my own…
Corgi-Malamutes Are High-Energy
Apollo loves to chill out sometimes, but as you can tell, he also loves to get up and play. All Corgi-Mutes feel exactly the same way; these dogs are bred from two intelligent, highly energetic breeds.

There are plenty of ways to make sure a playful Corgi-Mute gets exactly what they need to stay happy and healthy. Every day, they’ll need:
-
Walks around the neighborhood.
-
A chance to run and play, either in their own yard or at the dog park.
-
Plenty of human interaction indoors, like with small games of fetch.
-
Mental enrichment, like puzzle toys, lick mats, or foraging games.
Training is key with a breed like this; otherwise, they could get out of control quickly. Luckily, Apollo is a good boy, and he’d never dare!
