Sarah Chitwood, @ourlittlebluefarmhouse, has a small farm in eastern Tennessee and shares videos of the animals’ antics on her social media channels. In a recent video, she featured their turkey, Sweetpea, who has an adorable run any time she sees her mom coming toward her.
Watch as Sweetpea spots Mom and starts wobble-running to greet her. It’s not too long after she sees Mom that the other birds, including hens, a rooster, and even a couple of peacocks, join in, forming the cutest clucking gang you’ve ever seen!
We could watch Sarah’s video on repeat; it’s so cute that it almost looks AI-generated!
The music was also the perfect choice to pair with the birds’ unique run. @Hilary Wells agreed, “God, I love the way they run, LOL!”

More About Sweetpea, the Turkey
In the video’s caption, Sarah shared more of Sweetpea’s story.
“This is our pet turkey hen, Sweetpea. She is a broad-breasted Bronze Orlopp meat bird turkey. She was meant to be harvested for meat around 6 months of age. But she made it to our farm instead, is now almost 2 years old, and is living a life any turkey would be envious of.
She loves cheese crackers, males of the human species (especially my husband), and taking walks in our woods to lay her eggs, which she often eats afterward, LOL!
She is such a joy to us, and it makes me happy to know she also brings joy to so many of you!”
Commenter @llynx spoke for all of us when they said, “She is one beautiful, happy girl! You are a wonderful caretaker, and all those creatures are so lucky to have you and your family!” and we’ll all take more Sweetpea content any time!
