Many of our fur babies have features that stand out. My Dachshund has adorable floppy ears that she can move into some hilarious positions. Her Pug brother has the cutest little walk that looks more like a hop, making people smile when we pass by. Other dogs are remarkably big or small, have head-turning fur patterns, or possess a distinctive bark.

Hudson the Maine Coon cat has a beautiful, lush coat, but it’s his ice-blue eyes that would make anyone do a double-take.

The TikTok from @hudson.the.coon featured the pretty kitty roaming around his house. Hudson’s flowing and luxuriously fluffy coat was trademark Maine Coon, with soft, shaggy waves highlighted with black, gray, and gold stripes. His high-pointed ears and thick mane around his neck gave him a powerful, majestic look.

As stunning as his silky fur appeared, Hudson’s eyes were true showstoppers. The luminous color looked like it was developed in a Crayola factory. Icy-blue like glaciers, the shade made a beautiful contrast against his lush coat.

Hudson’s eyes have to be seen to be believed, though followers questioned if a filter was being used.

“How is Hudson real? Wow!” one posted.

“Is there a filter?! Does he really have those color eyes?! He’s so beautiful!” another exclaimed.

“He looks like a tiger and a lion in mini size,” a follower noted.

“All that baby would have to do is look at me and I would immediately give in,” someone remarked.

“Oh you’re sooooo beautiful… and those blue eyes,” a fan raved.

Maine Coon Cats Have Large Eyes

This beautiful feline breed is known for its iconic coat and vividly colored eyes. Maine Coons tend to have larger eyes than other cats. The round shape makes them appear wide-eyed and alert most of the time. Other breeds have more almond-shaped or oval eyes.

As Hudson beautifully demonstrates, Maine Coons have distinctive eye colors that stand out. Ranging from green and gold to rich amber and sapphire blue, these pretty kitties have eyes that can make you stop and stare.
