Never tell a miniature donkey that they cannot have any more treats. If you do, you will find out the hard way just how sassy and spicy they can be. Take Whimsey, the miniature donkey, for instance. In the video below, his human mama tells him that he cannot have any more treats because he has already had too many.
Unsurprisingly, this rejection doesn’t sit well with Whimsey, who throws the most adorable tantrum while trying to convince his human mama that he has, in fact, not had enough treats, LOL. To say that Whimsey was not having it is an understatement. This video notes that this “tough” conversation occurred between Whimsey and his human mama just before lunchtime. So, his next meal was not very far off. According to his human mama in this video, Whimsey had already had treats when he went to the farm’s lower barn on his walk, more treats when he went back to the main barn, and then had an additional helping of treats simply because he’s so gosh darn cute. To be clear, this miniature donkey is not starving.

When Whimsey’s human mama refused to give in to his cute expressions or adorable “heart-shaped nostrils” flaring at her, this scorned miniature donkey stopped being cute and started throwing a tantrum. At first, he took a step away from her, as though he wanted to let his mama know a storm was brewing and she had better watch out.
Whimsey then raised his head, lowered his ears, and opened his mouth to let out a whine worthy of a Jurassic Park velociraptor. He then let out several high-pitched wails while contorting his face and ears in all kinds of shapes we didn’t know were possible; at one point, Whimsey’s flailing mouth almost looked like the Ghostface mask from the Scream movies, LOL.
Whimsey Was Not a Happy Camper

To say that Whimsey disagreed with his human mama’s decision not to let him have any more treats before lunchtime is an understatement. But it’s not just this adorable miniature donkey that was unhappy with her decision; plenty of viewers on social media were unhappy with her decision, too.
Some reviewers demanded that she give Whimsey another treat immediately: “You give Whimsey another treat right this instant!” While others remarked that his human mama should have realized that the Internet would never take her side: “Why would you make this video KNOWING we will take his side?”
A few social media users pointed out that this video did not provide any evidence, other than his mother’s word, that Whimsey had actually received any treats at all: “We did not see you give him a single treat. Not one. It is your word against Whimsey’s, and I’m believing Whimsey, LOL!”
