Is there anything more adorable than a dog who is “obsessed” with trains? Yes, there is. A dog who is obsessed with trains getting to go on their very first train ride is even more adorable than a dog who is simply obsessed with trains.
For Baloo, the big bunny-eared American Bulldog, who just so happens to be a train-obsessed canine, his first time taking a train was everything he hoped it would be and then some! And while people might expect Baloo to have some wild reaction to being on a train, given the stereotypes that usually follow his breed, he did not. Baloo was as calm and gentle as could be on the train, and oh-so happy, too!
Just to give you an idea of how much Baloo loves trains, even before he’d ever been on one, before he had ever even seen one, he would let out a nice, long, soulful “awooo” whenever one would blow its horn as it passed by his home. He was definitely longing to see one up close and personal so that he could find out what a train was exactly and what it was all about.

Thankfully for Baloo, his loving human mama was able to take him on his very first train ride. She found a “dog-friendly scenic railroad on the Oregon coast,” where she and Baloo got to enjoy a very peaceful ride, beautiful scenery, and one very special train riding experience.
According to a comment on this video from Baloo’s human mama, “He truly appreciated every second, and watched the coast go by like a little person in the seat. I’m not going to lie – I did start crying halfway through the ride because I was so happy that I could take him on this adventure. He deserves it all.”
Baloo’s Cuteness Has the Internet Swooning

Viewers on social media were totally smitten with Baloo’s precious demeanor and gentle love of trains. Some of them were really taken in by his soulful awoos: “The ‘woooo’ while he was lying on his back, SO cute! This was adorable!”
Other social media users noted that Baloo’s enjoyment of the view during the train ride made this video extra special: “This actually made me tear up, it’s so beautiful he really was taking in those views.”
