Senior Golden Retriever Chester and his son Chase are lucky enough to live together in sunny Southern California. Their mom shares their daily antics and even wrote a children’s book about the two of them. While we’ve seen several of their cute videos, this one just might be our favorite!
The dogs’ mom makes an iced latte every morning, and of course, the Goldens sit and wait for a treat to be handed out or accidentally dropped for them to enjoy. So Mom started offering the boys “ice cookies”, really just an ice cube each. Make sure your sound is on because while the video is super cute, listening to them eat their cookies is the best way to start the day!
Mom shared more in the caption, “Finally found the missing piece to my morning routine. 10 out of 10 recommend.” We’re in! We can’t wait to give our pups an ice cookie!

Everybody Loves Listening to Chester and Chase’s Adorable ASMR
Like us, other viewers were smitten not only by the boys themselves but also by their cute ASMR noises while they enjoyed their ice cookies.
@ufos8mycat shared a screenshot of the senior Golden Retriever’s adorable face and shouted, “OH MY GOD ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!!” Chester’s mom replied, “He can get away with anything,” and we totally believe it, too!
Everybody knew exactly what @corypasmowitz meant when he said simply, “Cronch cronch cronch.”
@My Dog Mags shared, “My golden LOVES ice cookies. I’m so grateful after 11 years her two brain cells haven’t figured out how to push the button on the fridge dispenser yet!” Chase and Chester’s mom replied, “We don’t have a dispenser, but luckily they don’t have the thumbs to open the ice drawer LOL!” @With Love Yadi added, “I call it the ice tax…”
We totally agreed with @Tea Gradney when she said, “The only time I’m not annoyed hearing someone eat loudly…” We can’t stand listening to people chew food loudly, but we’ll all listen to dogs do it any day!
