Being a foster parent to a dog is by no means an easy job — it means helping a dog get settled into a new environment who may have had a rough start in life or caring for special medical needs. And of course, this also means saying goodbye when it’s time for them to move on to their forever home, which can be so heartbreaking after falling in love with your temporary baby.
But all of the tough stuff is totally worth it after seeing a dog finally get the safety and love they deserve on their journey to the family they’ll be with forever, and the Pit Bull in the video below is the perfect example of that.
On Wednesday, March 25, @rude_thecitypittie on TikTok shared footage of her foster pup giving her the sweetest face of all time while lounging on the couch, basking in all the happiness that comes with having a soft place to land.
“Her first week out of the shelter, experiencing love for the first time and she doesn’t want it to end,” her foster mom wrote in the video.
Who could blame her? She looks like this is what she’s been waiting her entire life to find.

She’s only been with her foster family for less than two weeks, but it looks like she had no problem settling right in — especially where her temporary sister, Rue (who is another PIt Bull) happens to be involved.
In this update, Mom shared that she’d only brought her foster pup home five days earlier, and in that time, she and Rue had become such besties that they were already napping together. Isn’t that the best?
It really does seem like she found the perfect place to hang out on her journey to finding her forever home — both with the humans and the other dog who live under her roof.
At this point, though, I wouldn’t be surprised if she ended up being a foster fail. How sweet is that face?!
