My favorite part of working from home definitely has to be the perk of spending all day with my pets. It does make the workday go by a lot faster when you’re getting things accomplished with a cuddly cat on your lap!
Of course, if you’re working from home, you’re still working, so your focus isn’t fully on the pets who are demanding your attention… and the Orange Cat in the video below has her own sweet way of letting Mom know that simply won’t do.
In this video shared by @collywally, Mom is clearly busy at her computer, so Ginger settles into her usual spot next to her… but it doesn’t take long for her to strike up a conversation in her own way.
She’s making it known that she wants more attention with those adorable little meows, and after a request like that, of course, Ginger’s mom can’t pass up the opportunity to give her more snuggles.
It might take her a little longer to get her work done after that snuggle break, but something tells me it’s worth the sacrifice to her (and to Ginger, if anyone wanted to know her opinion).

According to the other videos that Ginger’s mom has shared on TikTok, it seems like this is a very talkative cat (which is definitely in line with what we know about Orange Cats and the delightful chaos they can bring to a family).
In the video below, she makes it clear that she’s not interested in sharing her mom’s attention with her dad, and she’s not afraid to let her know, either.
“Ginger is a very shy girl with everyone except me, so I think having Evan around during our precious snuggle time stresses her out,” Mom explained in her caption.
I don’t see how anyone ever tells Ginger no, so it makes sense that she gets so many cuddles on request. That’s just the way it should be!
