Dogs might get all the attention for making heroic rescues (you know, kids stuck in wells and the like), but don’t let the stereotypes fool you: Cats can be just as heroic in their own way. You know, when a situation comes up where they can be of help, and it’s convenient for them to do so. Cats are gonna be cats, after all.
The Ragdoll cat in the TikTok video below definitely saw her opportunity to be a hero when she realized that her sister was trapped in the garage, but she was not in a big hurry to get there. Hey, she’s easily distracted—I can identify with that!
As we can see in this TikTok video from @billietheraggie, Billie went to find her mom when she realized that her sister, another cat named Kiwi, was MIA.
This began a wild chase around the house, with Billie taking detours here and there as different things became interesting to her. Pit stops were involved, but fortunately, her mom was able to keep her on task (kind of).
The search ended at the garage, where Kiwi was patiently waiting on the other side of the door, and apparently, she wasn’t too traumatized about being left out there, because she stayed put when she realized that Billie actually wanted to join her in the garage.

Many viewers found Billie to be pretty relatable, though, and I agree. How many times have you set out to do a task and then ended up getting wrapped up in something else and forgotten what you were supposed to be doing in the first place?
“Me doing numerous side quests before doing the main quest,” one commenter wrote. Another joked, “When you can’t decide if you want to be an only child or not.”
In the end, Billie still saved the day, and Kiwi was rescued. That’s really all that matters!
