Ratnesh Sarvankar is a wildlife photographer based in India that specializes in “capturing India’s wild heart, one frame at a time.”
In this image taken above the Spiti River in the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, Sarvankar captured a majestic and elusive snow leopard, also known as the Ghost of the Himalayas, as it easily blended into the mountainside.
While it’s not difficult to find in his photo, it does give a great example of its ability to hide out in the open.
