That was definitely the case for Stormy, a Black Lab whose love for her ball runs deep. While some dogs might have been nervous about a giant hole in the yard and a hardworking crew digging inside, Stormy saw it as an opportunity to make new friends. And to take her favorite game to new heights (or depths, in this case).

Labrador Retrievers have a way of stealing hearts, and Stormy shows exactly how they do it. Rather than be startled by the big equipment or the massive crater in her yard, she turned the scene into a playground. Standing right at the edge of the hole, she carefully rolled her ball down into the pit, waiting for someone to toss it back.

Her mom, Briley, shared in the comments that the crew happily joined in, keeping the game going between shovels. Stormy was undoubtedly thrilled every time her ball came back up.
Fans couldn’t get enough of her joyful energy. One viewer, @riverbrian, wrote, “As a former ditch digger, we want to play fetch as well.”
Another, @twentythreehiccup, joked, “It was so nice to invite some friends who are also digging enthusiasts over to play.”
