When it comes to parenting, there’s never really a minute off, is there? You’re always on call to do something. Even when that something is trying to wrangle your two energetic kids! One mama tiger knows this all too well. A video shows the tiger trying her best to keep up with her cubs as they got into some serious trouble.
Uh oh. It looks like Mom was cornered! The poor mama tiger was probably at her wit’s end when her two cubs decided to play recently. It looks like they were playing tag!
Have you ever heard of parents who say they immediately felt outnumbered when they went from one kid to two? Well this mama tiger probably knows the struggle. She is completely outnumbered by her two tiger cubs. They are such little scamps. They like to play and play. I’m sure Mom just wished they didn’t want to play with her all the time.

These two will certainly sleep well tonight. They were getting so much energy out! In the clip, one of the cubs even tries to grab at his mama’s tail as she runs away. He just wants a little attention! But this mama probably just wants a break.
“Mom vs. two tiny troublemakers,” the video’s caption reads.
Commenters couldn’t get enough of the tiger family.
“Mom just wants a little bit of peace,” teased one person.
“She’s like, ‘Ha, y’all are too short to get up here,’” someone else added.
“When she forgets she’s the only parent: ‘Somebody come get these kids!… Oh, right,’” quipped another commenter.
While one mom said it best: “It’s moms in every species…never get any peace from our babies. Wouldn’t have it any other way though,” she wrote.
How Many Babies Can Tigers Have?
Tigers are typically good mothers and they can have lots of babies over their lifetimes. Typically, a tiger’s gestation period is about three-and-a-half-months and female tigers can have up to seven cubs per litter, although on-average they tend to have three. Tigers often wait 18 to 24 months between births.
Here’s hoping that this tiger mom gets a little rest.
