Baby Elephant Proudly Shows Off His Balance Skills for Delighted Onlookers


Baby Asian elephant, Jet, has stolen fans’ hearts ever since he made his public debut at the St. Louis Zoo in 2025. From this tiny pachyderm’s playful nature to his adorable naptime antics, Jet is a character, and we love watching this energetic calf grow. Thanks to the zoo, we’ve caught every step of his journey, and recently, he discovered a new talent he’s eager to share with others.

TikToker @bobanimalwhispere had a front-row seat to witness Jet’s sweet performance. “Jet shows off his balance skills…twice. Way to go, Jet! “Jet is so proud of himself!” @bobanimalwhispere added in the video’s on-screen text, and it’s no wonder this little elephant is pleased with his new trick. After all, Jet isn’t even two years old yet, but he’s growing up so fast.

In the video, you can hear the excited crowd as they watch him. Jet put on a show by balancing himself on his hind legs, and he knew exactly what he was doing. How so? Well, Jet repeated his balancing act a second time, and he decided to up the difficulty. Jet made his way over to a rock and showed off his skills, again. And the fans were blown away, so much so that you can hear them enthusiastically “oohing” and “aahing” in the background.
