From updating the plumbing, air conditioning and heating systems to opening up the kitchen and repainting rooms, the 51-year-old spent over a year modernizing the property’s 5,600-square-foot main house.

She even cleared dense vegetation from the almost 12-acre lot to let in more light — and spectacular views. “It’s really like being in your own personal park,” Drew raved to WSJ. “There are tons of deer. There are pheasants, there are ducks, there are rabbits.”

The former child star doesn’t plan to enjoy her retreat for much longer, though. Following such a lengthy renovation, the needs of Drew’s Manhattan-based family — which includes the daughters she shares with ex-husband Will Kopelman, Olive, 13, and Frankie, 11 — are now different, and with less time to use the customized abode than originally planned, she’s listed it for $4.99 million!
