Strong Wind Takes on Small Kitten and the Outcome Is Too Funny

The wind lately has been crazy, to be honest. People all over the country are reporting winds that have us feeling like we could get swept away in an instant! Fall is here, so it kind of makes sense, as the wind helps the leaves fall from the trees. However, that doesn’t make it any less annoying!

Recently, one poor little Black Kitten was outside when it was windy, and he almost got blown away! There’s always been the saying that a strong enough gust of wind could knock someone over, and this time, it came true. There was never anything so cute:

Christine Ha owns the Whisks to Whiskers Cat Cafe, where this little boy is currently staying. He’s 31 weeks old and only 2.8 pounds: less than half of what a cat his age should be. Baby Corn is a rescue, and he’s getting all the care he needs with Christine! On his windswept walks, he even wears a leash, which might have been the only thing tethering him to the earth!

He was even tinier when he was younger, if you can believe it. His parents have taken him to a bunch of really cool places, from outside for a walk to Pompeii and Rome! This 2.8-pound cat made his way to Rome before I did! However, they had to hold on to him pretty tightly, because he would blow away!

Baby Corn’s journey has been so fun. He might be tiny, but he’s living his best life. He’s found his forever home with Christine, and he gets to meet lots of other kitties who make their way into her cat cafe. He also gets to test out all of his grandpa’s pet beds, which is just about the most wonderful thing ever. There’s never been a better-loved cat.

This type of thing is a legitimate concern for kittens. If you want to take them out for walks (which you should only do if/when they’re fully vaccinated), you should be mindful of the weather, as kittens need to be kept pretty warm. Otherwise, they could get sick! Not Corn, though; he’s perfectly well-cared for!
