Rescue Dog Who Has Chaotic 6:00am Dance Parties Is the Definition of Joy

As a night owl, I cannot fathom waking up at the crack of dawn by choice. Sure, I could get up early if I needed to, but my dogs and I would be much happier taking our time in the morning. Still, I have an appreciation for people and pets who start their days before the sun, just like Rubie the rescue dog.

This New Jersey queen is always a happy dog, whether she’s on a walk with her mom or hosting one of her famous dance parties. She’s gone viral several times thanks to her joyful booty-shaking, and this time is no different. Rubie decided 6:00 am was the perfect time for a dancy party, and her energy is ‘paw-sitively’ contagious!

What a good girl! No one can bring down Rubie’s carefree vibe, even first thing in the morning. If this isn’t the perfect example of a grateful and resilient rescue dog, I don’t know what is.

Even Rubie’s online fans are feeling the groove after watching this dancing dog! One commenter admitted, “the head whips take me out every time,” while someone else adored the dog mom’s over-the-top camera work. However you look at it, Rubie’s videos are packed full of joy!

“That is one happy, loved, and emotionally secure pup,” agreed @j_truestories. “Great job!” However dogs express their feelings, whether through zoomies, cuddles, or even canine tantrums, knowing that they feel safe enough to do so is a gift all on its own.

Resilient Rescue Dogs

I can hardly imagine this joyful girl as a shelter pup, but sure enough, Rubie is a rescue dog. Like millions of others, she’s gone from a life of uncertainty and stress to one of love and fun. In a perfect world, that would be every shelter dog’s journey!

I hope videos like this can inspire others to consider rescuing a pet. Even though it may take weeks or even months before a nervous dog can feel this level of joy, every pup deserves the chance to throw their own living room dance parties.
