For Dixie the Chihuahua, her prized possession isn’t a toy or a blanket. It’s her clothing. Yes, her clothing. Her dress, which is clearly part of her princess wardrobe, belongs to her and her alone.
And while she has no trouble letting her Mom handle her threads, Dad is a different story. Maybe it’s because Dixie is the only girl in an all-male animal household, or perhaps it’s simply her royal nature, but Dad is not allowed to lay a finger on her pretty dress.

Dixie was not messing around. She sat calmly after her mom took off her dress and watched as she put it down without a single complaint. But she kept one eye on Dad the entire time, clearly tracking his every move.

The moment he reached over, barely touching her dress, she launched into action. Quick as could be, she grabbed it right out of his hand before he had a chance to claim it. It was a tiny burst of energy that made you laugh and impressed you with her speed.
Her bold personality doesn’t stop there. In another video, Dixie showed off her smarts by responding passionately to the names of her feline siblings. When Mom called them out, Dixie barked each time, as if announcing that she wanted the spotlight back on herself.
