Bernese Mountain Dog Bernoulli used to have a feline sister named Ginger, and while he absolutely adored her, the feeling wasn’t exactly mutual. It was definitely a love/hate relationship, with Bernoulli showing all the love and Ginger’s patience always wearing thin. Ginger recently moved to the big city with Bernoulli’s human brother, leaving the house feeling a little emptier without her.

To fill that gap, the family decided to adopt a new kitten named Brix, and it didn’t take long for Bernoulli to show just how excited he was about his new little brother. From the moment they met, it was clear that Bernoulli was determined to make Brix his new best friend, whether Brix was ready for it or not!

We love watching Bernoulli sweetly maul the kitten! His mom, Kris, explains his dynamic with his new kitty brother in the video’s caption perfectly:”Ginger is living her best life, but ours on the farm was missing something. Brix arrived on Friday, and slowly we have introduced him to the dogs. Bernoulli was smitten immediately and is now Brix’s shadow. Brix will never replace Ginger in our house, but he does bring back something we missed- and something you all have missed. A soggy cat loved by a giant goober.”

Like us, viewers were so happy to see the love between Bernoulli and Brix blossoming. @1kwalker wasn’t wrong when they shared, “Aww, I’m so happy for Bernoulli that Brix is accepting his unique form of love!! Bernoulli looks so happy, and Brix does not look fazed at all! Ginger did a wonderful job teaching Bernoulli to be gentle!”
