Senior Golden Retriever Playing in the Mud Is the Content We’re Here For

Meet Duke, an adopted senior Golden Retriever who’s become an internet-famous dog for bringing all sorts of random household objects to his bed every day; we’re talking books, laptops, teacups, you name it. Most of the videos his mom posts show his indoor shenanigans, but in this clip, Duke has found something new to obsess over… mud!

A few days ago, Duke went out for some playtime, and when Mom went to check on him, she found him happily splashing around in a little mud puddle, which he was clearly trying to turn into a much bigger mess. At first, Mama Duke tries to convince him to leave it alone, but it doesn’t take long for her to realize that he has no plans to listen to her!

Duke’s mom, realizing that most of the time Duke’s indoors just chilling, shared in the caption, “When Duke acts like a dog, we let him go for it! LOL!” It’s a good thing she decided to laugh about it because it was clear that Duke wasn’t going to stop, even if she demanded it!
