Most of the time, dogs are happy-go-lucky companions who can raise anyone’s spirits with just a wag of their tail. Whether they jump for joy when they see their favorite person or cuddle up with gratitude after a long hike, there are so many ways that dogs can share their happiness. Sometimes, however, they’re not afraid to share their other feelings, too!
For the perfect example, look no further than a sassy Dachshund named Remy. On November 19, his mom, Valerie (AKA @valeberry), caught him serving the most savage stink eye. From the way he perched on the sofa to the way his paws were placed, there’s no doubt that this dog is hardcore judging.
OMG, that face says it all! Remy’s slow head turns left me laughing out loud, but I can only imagine how entertained Valerie must have been when she noticed him glaring like that. Now, the only question that remains is, what was this judgmental dog so mad about?
I got a kick out of @eclectiffstyle’s joke, “He did my taxes back in ’98. Very judgmental, but a great guy. Highly recommend.” An uppitty accountant is precisely his vibe!

“Those paws are very judgy,” commenter @kathrynandclarke agreed. Is he about to tap his paws together ominously like the bad guy in old movies? This Oscar-worthy performance proves he could play the perfect villain, even with his adorable long fur.
If you ask me, he looks like he’s ready to begin a very important meeting! His wise-beyond-his-years appearance definitely gives him a CEO energy, but something tells me this boss is more concerned about lunchtime and breaks than getting work done.
Wirehaired Dachshunds
Remy’s stink eye isn’t the only thing that makes him unique. He’s also a wirehaired Dachshund, which means he has long, wiry fur rather than the short fur most Dachshund dogs have. This long fur gives him an adorable wispy mustache and a layer of fluff from nose to tail, but on the inside, he’s just like every other Doxie… which means he’s completely one of a kind!

Dachshunds are loving, affectionate, and happy dogs who love to be included in everything. They can be vocal and energetic, but they can also love to cuddle up and even burrow under blankets at the end of the day. Wirehaired and longhaired Dachshunds also require regular brushing to keep their coats clean and tangle-free, but you can think of this as just another way to bond with your dog.
