Chicken Cuddling in the Grass With Her Favorite Girl Is Tugging at Heartstrings

Just a girl and her favorite chicken — she has life all figured out. People were positively swooning over a video of a toddler having a cuddle with her pet chicken in the grass. There is something so peaceful about the two of them. That’s her emotional support chicken and she’s her emotional support girl!

Life with a chicken seems so simple, doesn’t it? Just a girl and her favorite bird looking up at the bright, blue sky. What could be better? I think they both loved spending time together, they were having so much fun.

The little one was caught taking it all in by her mama, Steph Jones, who is raising a child that has a big heart for animals. That’s for sure!

The rest of the flock was busy having a snack while the toddler and her favorite chicken went for a rest. It was probably a busy day for both of them. It’s not easy being a chicken nor a toddler. They definitely deserve to spend some time in the grass.

Surprisingly, the chicken was as cool as a cucumber. She didn’t fight the little one at all. Yep, these two have to be besties. That’s the only answer to why they understand each other on such a deep level.

If this sounds like an absolute dream to you, then you aren’t alone. People in the comments section were here for the girl and her chicken BFF.

“Emotional support chicken. She knows how to stay off the dinner table,” wrote one person in the comments.

“A girl in her princess gown hugging a chicken laying in the grass under the sun. That sounds dreamy,” chimed in another commenter.

“I love how chill that chicken is! Chickens are NOT gonna be held if they don’t wanna be,” one commenter pointed out.

Are Chickens Affectionate?

More than just a source of eggs, many people consider their chickens to be part of the family. But can they love you back? Yes. Chickens are friendly and affectionate pets that can be friendly to humans. They can have sweet personalities and are good family pets.

There are, however, times when a chicken does not want to be held. But don’t worry, you’ll know about it. They make it very known when they’re not feeling the love.
