Green Cheek Conure Discovers Opera and the Cutest Little Dance Ensues

When it comes to pets, it’s probably safe to say that birds are the most musical. While all kinds of animals have been shown to enjoy music, birds are the ones who really get down to it — and some of them even have pretty good singing voices.

All birds seem to have their own preferences when it comes to music genres, and now that the Green Cheek Conure featured in the video below has discovered opera, it looks like it may be her new favorite!

On Friday, November 21, @marelispinata on TikTok shared this adorable footage of her bird, Pińata, dancing to opera music (and never missing a single beat).

You can tell that she’s really feeling the emotion in the song, and she’s not half-bad at dancing, either.

Commenters gushed over Piñata’s skills, with one person writing, “She’s in bird heaven. She didn’t know it could get so good.”

Another called Piñata’s vibes “immaculate,” and I would have to agree. If only it were possible for her to go to the opera in person and hear this kind of music live.

Piñata Seems to Like All Kinds of Music

As it turns out, it’s not just opera that Piñata is a big fan of; like many birds, he truly loves music in general — and it looks like he’ll dance to all kinds of genres, according to the videos that his mom has shared on TikTok.

For example, the way that she gets down to Lady Gaga is something you definitely need to see:

In another video that went viral earlier this year, Piñata’s mom demanded that her followers watch her bird show off her salsa moves… and boy was it ever worth it, because this bird can really dance!

Please never stop showing the world your love for music of all kinds, Piñata. Some birds really do have their favorite genres and songs, but it really seems like this pretty bird is down for any kind of music that might be playing at the time.
