My dogs know when I’m sick. Outside of the obvious signs like my lack of energy and skipping their daily long walks, they always sense when I’m under the weather and try to make me feel better. My senior Dachshund is like a little nurse and stays by my side whether I’m in bed or on the couch, and my Pug mix literally stares at me nonstop as if he’s monitoring my health status. Their endless love and compassion puts a bright spot on an otherwise not-so-fun situation.

This adorable white cat showed just how compassionate kitties can be and stepped up to take care of her mom when she wasn’t feeling well.

In the TikTok from @gretta_zou, the camera revealed a small pile of kibble on a bedspread and then panned to a sweet white cat at the side of the bed.

“I’ve been sick in bed for three days with no appetite,” the onscreen text explained. “Woke up from a nap and found some kibble on my bed — turns out my cat was worried I might be hungry. She’s the sweetest in the world.”

The pretty kitty apparently took it upon herself to make sure her mom got the nourishment she needed and provided food from her own stash. The caring cat sat at her mom’s bedside and looked at her as if she was saying, “You need to eat – just a few bites.”

The tender scene went viral and has so far garnered approximately 5.5 million views. This heartwarming video shows how loving and devoted feline fur babies are despite their stereotype of being overly aloof.

Over 6,000 followers commented on the concerned kitty’s gentle gesture and praised her empathy and dedication.
