Pets find their own little ways of helping their human parents with around-the-house tasks, and Teacup Pigs are no exception.
Meet Gertie, the adorable pink piglet with black spots, who has decided to help her dad while he builds a shelf by taking a little nap on the back of his legs.
He is kneeling, so his legs together form the perfect little basket for her to curl up in and take a little snooze!
She is giving moral support!
In the video from the account @piggygert, the little pig’s mom says, “Oh, Gertie’s doing so good! Gertie’s taking a nap.”
Her dad clearly isn’t bothered by her choice of nap placement, as he says, “Thank you, Gert. That’s my helper.”
Eventually, though, her dad has to get off his knees, and her mom tells her, “Oh, Gertie, he can’t sit like that forever,” as her little nap nesting cocoon disappears.
But don’t worry, once her dad is sitting upright, he scoops her up in his arms for some pets.
“Aww, Gertie loves to be picked up,” says her mom.
As one commenter on the video pointed out, Gertie has followed the classic pet motto that applies to so many cats and dogs of “If I fits, I sits.”
If you’re looking for miniature pig content, then this is the account for you. It’s full of videos featuring the adorable Gertie pitter-pattering around the house, taking naps, cuddling with her parents, and saying hello to her dog brother, Zeus.
