We’ve all been there… so hungry that waiting for the meal to actually be served feels impossible, so we just start eating whatever we can get our hands on. For this mini Highland cow named Sandy, breakfast time means helping herself, even while Dad is still trying to move the food away from her!
In the video, Sandy’s dad grabs a bale of hay to bring out to the pasture to feed all the cows at Cyrus Ridge Farm, but Sandy is way too hangry to wait for him to get it there. Instead, she digs right in as he moves it, determined to chow down immediately, and honestly, we can’t totally relate!
In the video’s caption, Sandy’s mom says simply, “We feel this Sandy…”, and based on some of the comments viewers left, a lot of us can relate!

Funny Comments About the Hangry Highland Cow
We cracked up reading through some of the comments, like @Y2KDIVA, who joked, “Your annual performance review will reflect this oversight.”
Another commenter joked, “Like eating a few fries out of the bag on your way home. Which gets me thinking, does grass taste like fries to cows?”
@jassmine pointed out, “Love how she went ahead and took a little off the bottom for an inconvenience fee!” @Jack E Robinson agreed, “She is obviously quality control.” @juliemeows gets it, “So I can grab an onion off the fajita plate when the waiter walks by?”
Viewer @nanawest shared, “We need to hear Sandy’s perspective LOL!” @I_am_Tasha_Marie was spot on when she said what Sandy was thinking, “Next time be on time… 8:29 am. Please and thank you.” Sandy’s mom replied, “Haha, she’s not messing around, and we heard her!”
@Pink_Depression_Glass shared, “People don’t understand how livestock are literally the most punctual routine-based animals on the planet! You think your cat is bad?? Try bellowing heifers waiting for breakfast LOL!” @Heidi added, “All the other cows were like… is someone gonna find breakfast… she’s like I’ll go get it….”
If you live on a farm, it seems there’s never a dull moment!
