I love Pit Bulls. I have never met a Pit Bull who wasn’t the sweetest, silliest dog ever. They’re just the goofiest, and it’s always such a treat. Their square heads, their never-stationary tails, and the way they smile so happily are just unbeatable.
For one Pit Bull, she has a little bit of a problem. Her mom keeps having guests over… and apparently, she’s not supposed to pin them down and snuggle them for hours? Who knew? Luckily, no one seems to mind.
Rhubarb the Pit Bull is actually going to make me cry. She’s seriously the sweetest girl in the whole world, and if I were her mom, I’d be a little concerned. Are my friends really coming to visit me, or do they just want snuggles from Rhubarb? I know what my answer would be…

Rhubarb is about to be 4 years old, and her mom has had her since she was the tiniest puppy ever. Rhubarb has grown up entertaining her mom’s friends and family, so these snuggles are very personal. She genuinely loves everyone she snuggles.
Rhubarb prefers for her head to be directly touching your head, especially if her neck is resting on your face. Additionally, if you don’t want kisses from her… That’s tough, because kisses are part of the deal. She loves to kiss her snuggle victims!
She also has a brother who she kisses just as much as everyone else, and it’s seriously the most adorable thing.
Well, at least her mom is honest. Rhubarb is certainly a clingy girl, but in her defense, that’s how Mom likes her. It’s how she was raised!

Pit Bulls Can Be Clingy
Whether you get them from a rescue or you get them from a breeder, there’s a good chance they’re going to glom on and never let go. Pit Bulls tend to need a lot of emotional support, and for most of us, it’s part of what we love about them the most.
If your Pit Bull is too clingy, you can try:
-
Leaving them alone for short periods and slowly building up.
-
Crate-training them so you’ll have at least a little bit of peace.
-
In severe cases, medication may be needed.
Luckily, Rhubarb is fine; she just likes to snuggle. There’s nothing wrong with that!
