CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Pet parents looking to get their furry friends in the holiday spirit are in luck, PetSmart’s annual Santa photo-op returns this December with free, festive portraits.
According to PetSmart, on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14, between 2 and 5 p.m., pets of all kinds – dogs, cats, and small animals – can pose with Santa at any store location across the country.
The event is complimentary and open to all, offering families an easy, no-cost way to snag a holiday photo featuring their four-legged (or feathered) companions.
PetSmart says more than 90% of pet parents include their pets in holiday celebrations, making the Santa sessions a seasonal favorite.
Those who attended are encouraged to dress their pets for the occasion. The retailer’s Merry & Bright collection is available in stores and online, and it features everything from plaid vests and velvet bows to fuzzy pajamas, festive headbands, ugly sweaters, and even mini Santa costumes.
Pet parents who attend the event can earn in-store perks, including 5X Treats points for Treats Rewards members, according to PetSmart.
