Oh, this video. This is one of those that made me, for some inexplicable reason, laugh for like two days straight. It has a Belgian Malinois, one of my favorite breeds, acting even more peculiar than usual, which makes me love them even more. I think it was just the perfect combo!
So we have Maggie the pup. She has her sights set on a tiny plastic Jesus in the house that she’s determined to eat. She gets caught in the process and apprehended by Dad, and called to the kitchen. She *super* reluctantly spits out the mini Jesus and, while Dad’s reminding her, “You can’t eat baby Jesus,” she’s giving the best “I’m really sorry” look while still giving this, “I’m totally going to eat that baby Jesus” look. It’s absolutely classic! It’s a textbook Malinois move.
After that, it gets even more hilarious. Maggie’s in a time-out in the kitchen, where she’s forced to sit and gaze upon baby Jesus where he’s almost glowing in a beam of sunshine on the floor triumphantly while worship music plays, and she looks so defeated, somewhat regretful, but like she’s just itching to get one… more… shot at that little guy!
Everyone is amused by Maggie’s antics. “I don’t know if this is funny or sacrilege,” replied one viewer. Another thought that, “Not the Mal focused on her next move!! You just know she’s trying to figure it out while worshiping.” LOL.
