Some pets were born to grow up with fur siblings. You can tell—their big hearts and docile, easygoing personalities make for the best friend, companion, and comrade to any newcomer. Life for these precious pets would be so much better with a cute little sidekick.
Opie is one of the sweetest Pit Bulls around, with the kind of face you’ll give up everything for. But for a long time, he had a longing—a deep loneliness you could see in his big, trusting eyes. The only logical thing his parents could do was get him a tiny kitten to look after, and that’s when Opie’s life really began.

No one will ever convince me that any one breed, specifically any under the “Pit Bull” umbrella, is anything other than gentle, loving, loyal pups. Opie is an excellent ambassador for the breed, and it looks like his new kitten would agree.
Not only does Opie love his new kitten, but he has since had multiple kitty siblings, and he’s never been happier. Though he’s older, they’re the ones who are raising him. So far, they’ve taught him all kinds of cat things like loafing, sleeping in tiny cat beds, and even rubbing up against Mom and Dad’s legs the way felines do!

Opie’s more than 317k TikTok followers know what a lovebug he is, but this montage shows a clear before-the-kitten with a sad Opie and after version, where the pup realized his true purpose.
“He is a gentle baby. His soul is as pure as light,” one person praised the good boy. “No more lonely times! Only fren times! Always fren times,” another fan joked. “Dats his wittle baby,” another added.
This is one Pit Bull who was destined to be part of a pack—even if it’s all cats.
Dogs and Their Kitten—the Perfect Pair
Everything feels right in the world when a kitten is involved. Their sole job is to make everyone happy. Not all dogs are great with the feline type, but for those who are searching for more to make sense of this thing called life, a tiny kitten just might do the trick.
Opie was doing OK before that first kitten came along, but now that he’s surrounded by feline love and companionship, you can tell—he didn’t know what was missing until the kitty came along. Now they have each other, and he’ll never be lonely again.
